New Year’s Eve Service & Burning Bowl Ceremony ~ December 31 at 11AM (during our regular service)
The New Year’s Eve Burning Bowl Ceremony is one of our most popular events. It is a time of fellowship and reflection. This year we will hold the Burning Bowl ceremony during our regular service. Those attending in-person will have the opportunity to write out those things that no longer serve you and release them through our burning bowl ceremony. Those of you joining us virtually can follow along in the privacy of your space.
Please set aside time during the week to write your letters to God. The focus should be setting your intention on what you would like to see more of in the new year, looking to the future with renewed hope and enthusiasm. We ask that you place your letter in a self-addressed envelope. If you do not bring your letter with you or you are participating virtually; you can send your “Letter to God” in a self-addressed envelope to Unity of Washington DC to be returned to you in the Summer.
