It Is That Time of Year Again…
Holiday Cheer for Seniors!
For many years, Unity of Washington, DC congregants have come together on Christmas Eve to deliver meals, holiday cards, and supermarket gift cards to low-income seniors who may not have friends or family around with whom to celebrate the holiday. Over the past few years, to minimize the spread of COVID-19, we have not prepared and delivered meals, but have continued to provide seniors with supermarket gift cards.
To contribute to Holiday Cheer for Seniors:
1. Purchase $ 35.00 Giant gift cards or make a monetary donation by check. Make checks payable to Unity of Washington, DC (note in memo line: Holiday Cheer for Seniors).

You can also drop off the gift cards or checks at the church office
2. Or make a monetary donation online. Use the links or QR codes below
DONATIONS must be received on or before December 4 in order to purchase the gift cards and distribute to the seniors.

Adopt-A-Family Program
Your generous support of our Adopt-a-Family program has been a rewarding and heartwarming way to help some of the areas neediest families. As was done in past years, with your support, we can restore hope to these families to make holiday wishes come true. Our 2023 Adopt-A-Family program will be run similar to last year. Instead of wrapped toys and gifts, we are requesting monetary donations to ensure that the families will have the flexibility to celebrate Christmas in a meaningful way. The money will be used to purchase gift cards. We will distribute the gift cards to each family based on their size.
